We have invested in a state of the art ultrasound that enables the doctors to more accurately diagnose conditions that might not be readily observable using radiographs (x-rays). The ultrasound is more effective at looking at the liver, kidneys, gall bladder, pancreas, intestines, adrenal glands, and bladder. Ultrasound is a noninvasive and non painful diagnostic tool which allows it to be a great option for all pets, but especially those that are under the weather.
Our ultrasound can also be used to perform echocardiography. This picture of the heart can tell the doctors a lot about the structure and function of the heart. These findings can allow for possible early intervention in various heart diseases.
